Poll results and Trip

I have the poll results ready to post as soon as teot lets the writers out of the anonymous handcuffs and blindfolds.

Then we can put them on Clark and Lex. The cuffs and blindfolds, silly, not the writers. Although the other's not such a bad idea.

So, there were winners! Mmmm, back to blindfolded and cuffed....oops, where was I?

As soon as we get organized, my husband and I are off to the kicking metropolis of Toledo, Ohio. Does that man know how to book an anniversary trip or what! 31 years and I get Toledo! (no offense intended to any people in Toledo or even Ohio) It was actually supposed to start with a Friday the 13th motorcycle gathering in Port Dover, Ontario but the weather is dismal so we'll just travel by car through to Toledo where I'll get dinner and a hotel stay (Hampton Inn has wireless - yeah!).

Tomorrow, it's off to the zoo. And that is actually why he's taking me to Toledo, because we keep meaning to stop there on motorcycle tours and never make it. Zoos are my consolation for being cooped up in a sidecar for hours. Second choice is usually an art museum or some quirky roadside attraction.

So, although I'll be incommunicado for the majority of the day, I will have my laptop on my lap (go figure) and will be compiling rec lists for svroundtable and writing LOE and ATAP. So about 6 hours of fanfic heaven in the car. Not a bad deal! Toledo, here I come. :-D
