This is going to be gooooooooood! Wonderful Bruce POV--I love that he's resisted the urge to become the Bat, focusing on a different way to right the wrongs in the world. I love his dedication to Lex and their friendship. And I adore the different direction that Lex took with his life. Julian surviving is even better. Can't wait to see more!

This is indeed a slightly different version of Bruce, but hopefully will still be recognizable. I like his character is this, but Lex is definitely the one to watch for me.

That's the lineup with guest appearances from Pete Ross, Morgan Edge, Phalen, Lucas and Victoria. It took a while to get them all arranged to my liking, but I think I've got it.

Afterwards, he gets an ovation. Zatanna asks him if there's anything he can't do, and Batman explains that while he was on a month-long stakeout he heard a guy sing that every night.
Then, back at the Watchtower, Wonder Woman asks if she missed anything. Batman goes O.o and says, "Not really". And Wonder Woman's like riiiight, and walks away humming "Am I Blue".
It's a beautiful thing.

Ok, ready to read and comment *pops out eyeballs, polishes them and pops them back in* I'm really nervous because I've been waiting for ages for one of your WIPs to be concluded, and 1) I don't like reading about the boys finding another partner (unless those partners are already dead when the fic starts... :P I'm cruel that way) and 2)I know nothing about Bruce 'xcept the basic outlines (rich, playboy cover-up, Batman, yadda yadda), so finding out how you depicted him is going to be exciting. BTW, as you can see, I still haven't begun reading, so I'll be leaving a comment for each chapter as I finish reading them. Sorry if I make a comment about something which will be resolved in the following chapter, or that you have already explained to another reader, but I like writing how I feel on the way, and I don't usually read other people's comments just in case they spoil something =P *deep breath* Here I go...

*gasp* OMG!! I love Lex! (surprise there :P), but the amazing part is that *I like Bruce too* !! O.o I always thought Bruce was going to be the emotionless b*stard that Batman represents.
And I also love the way you describe things, no lost feelings nor EMO moments, just things as they happened. I'm curious now to see them as adults, after having met them as kids. Good, good!
