Mmmm, I wandered back here somehow (originally read this on LJ, I think) & it's just as sweet & funny this time. John being reckless & Rodney panicking & Ronon & Teyla trying to keep both of them calm & out of trouble: a perfect off-world-crisis vignette!

The illos are perfect too. Is there a translation for the inscription on rusty tree-tube-thing? (I bet it's something like, "Read the directions, idjit!" ;-) I think John owes Rodney several nice favors--look at Rodney's distraught woobie-face as he hugs the tree frantically! I sure hope to read about them in future Screen Savor adventures.... <3 <3
