Why I didn't get anything written last night

Because I was an idiot and left my work laptop sitting on my desk at work. I really hope it's still sitting there this morning.

What's that you say? I have a personal laptop that I could have used?

No, my husband needed to play his online game that I used to play last year and abandoned when I got too involved in reading slash. Normally, I give him my work laptop for this activity and restrict slash to my home laptop. You never know when the network police will search and seize and slash is a definite no-no. *grimaces*

I read slash on my PDA and pouted and ended up going to bed 2 hours earlier than normal.

Now I can't write until after my dance lesson tonight. Hey! I have a dance lesson tonight. *stops pouting*


Update: I arrived at work and there it was, sitting out on my desk. None of my co-workers noticed it so it didn't get stolen or locked in someone's desk to 'keep it safe'. Whew! *wipes sweat from forehead in relief*
