I saw the specialist yesterday and he was impressed at how well my vocal cord had healed. He said most of his patients don't manage to avoid talking as much as they should. Best part is, no surgery. I'm supposed to gradually start talking again and check back in a month. If my voice is still cracking and froggy, then I'll have to go in for a different test for possible scarring or adhesions and also a biopsy. Fingers crossed it'll all come back without too much hassle.

Tired because not sleeping well, although I'm forcing myself to go to bed anyway. Two more nights and Gary's home and it'll be better. I'm so spoiled and I know it. *hangs head in shame*

Writing is so-so to pretty good. I like the latest story (You Still Own Me) a lot and that took me a day to write. Now if I could just get Heaven Sent to cooperate. I'm 1300 words into the chapter and it's just not coming together. That's why I switched over to the short story. Maybe I'll look at Intentions tomorrow and see if I can pull together a chapter on that. *sigh*
