Okay, first? I love the art. I was all - Oh Noes! Not Kolya! But it's (John!!) really beautiful.
Then. Ooohhh...spooky story! I have to tell you I take my vampires very seriously (see username for ample evidence), and you had me totally sucked in. Totally. I was horrified for Rodney and wondering how John was going to live with himself when he did what he oh-so-obviously had to do. Thank goodness you found a way around it. ;) *pets poor John and snuggles human Rodney madly*
I have to tell you - as I got to the part where John was shooting Kolya and nothing was working, I was kind of freaking out a bit and worried about John as I read and...my cat jumped up on the sofa next to me and scared me out of my gourd! Seriously! I jumped a foot and just about had a heart attack. You may now pat yourself on the back. Hee!
