I almost have a voice

I just tested recording Day 403 and I'm still a squeaky frog at best. At least I think I figured out how to use Audacity which is helpful because I'll be guaranteed to make mistakes while reading and have to 'rewind' and try again. And again.

Well, I'm glad you're better. Word of advice I need to include in the "tips" post on the comm, if you make a mistake, just pause it. If you stop it, I think it takes you back to the beginning of the recording and that could cause you to record over everything you did already. If you need help editing, I'll be more than happy to assist :D

Yeah, that little go back to the beginning thing was fun, especially since it begins a new track and both of them play. Oy.

I read the tutorials and experimented and I think I've got it down how to 'rewind' (set the cursor back) select to the end and delete. Then you can record from the cursor on. Better yet - don't make mistakes. I was really just seeing how bad the voice was. It was kind of funny actually.

I also downloaded the dll so I can export as an mp3, so that's one thing less for you to do when I finally finish. :-D

I'll try again in a couple of days.

Oh, the conversion is no trouble at all because my iTunes does it for me. I was trying to sound like I was doing something important, lol.

I believe so, based on my experiments. Use the fastforward and then record. Don't take my word, though, try it first. :-D
