About things being an optical illusion. Lex always seems to be wanting to create an illusion when it comes to how people see him. I think Clark could make him just be himself.
I'm surprised he didn't pick up on the subtleness of his own words when he said Lex expects him to figure out something. At least he is starting to get a clue. The fact that he thinks they could balance one another gives me hope. What a different and delightful take on the relationship. I enjoyed reading this.
