I've been getting muscle spasms in my face for the last three days. They hit me every now and then and usually mean that I've been clenching my jaw again. Very bad habit. Muscle relaxants work for a while, but I hate how they make me feel on top of my other meds, so I stick to taking them right before bed and suffering through the days.

To keep myself occupied I've been (no particular order):

1. Writing Intentions, one torturous paragraph at a time.
2. Watching The Bourne Identity and taking notes.
3. Reading McShep (long fics).
4. Waiting for The Thin Man to arrive.
5. Reading my flist.
6. Trying not to clench my jaw or chew or squint or smile (it sucks when smiling HURTS).
7. Making notes on Art Appreciation, a bunny that's been nibbling at my brain today.

Going to go write another paragraph of the story that fewer and fewer people seem to be reading. *sigh*

Yeah, stupid jaws! We should get them removed! I keep getting funny looks from people when I stop eating to massage my jaw. The other day I had a vicious headache because my jaw was clenching, my neck was tight, I was tired+hungry, and Alicia was loud. Combo clearly = headache right? But Wade's all "I think it's in your head." Jerk! (wade is generally a sweetheart, but he's still a boy and therefore a jerk on occasions) I've been wearing my mouthguard and it's protecting my teeth but doesn't seem to be doing much for my jaw anymore. :/ Maybe once I get off my lazy ass and start working out every day it'll improve. Do you have a mouthguard? You should probably get one, for the teeth griding if nothing else. Why's your jaw clenching so much anyways, are you repressing stress young lady? ::squints at you:: Relaaaaax, all is well. Though my fraggin shoulder-neck is still cramped so I'm not really one to talk...

I need an OW icon. I use comics as icons, geez, they're breaking things all the time, I have no excuse for not having one. Here, I'll put my whiny icon on instead.

Aw, Lex is cute in your new banner.

3. Reading McShep (long fics).

Um...does this mean less Clex in the future?

4. Waiting for The Thin Man to arrive.

I was curious. When you work on projects like that, is it easier to watch the movie or to read the original work?

I would have been reading if I hadn't been hit with the sniffles and month end. *HUGS* I just couldn't get focused the past few days.

I read and commented. :P I'm not sure why you're not getting more hits. Though my flist has been pretty slow lately. Maybe the ebil known as Real Life (AAAH!) has captured them!

When you work on projects like that, is it easier to watch the movie or to read the original work? Watch the movie usually. It gives me visual cues.

I thought that was how I would work with As You Wish, but the book somehow ended up on my desk and I keep seaching through it. LOL

hmm... I used to have the same problem (clenching my jaw) and I suffered from headaches because of that. I got a mouthguard as well, sort of silicon and really well fitted, and it worked nicely for me, though it took me three different models 'til I found the good one. But the best for me is my bat and my bro's sand sack/punching bag ;) Frustration relief 100% guaranteed!
