Been pretty busy with the muses

In between trying to get Unforgiven finished so that I can get my brain back to The Kent Identity, I've been watching and taking notes on Tequila Sunrise. That's a definite for ladydey and I hope she'll forgive me if I can't finish it by 2/29 if the muses are uncooperative. I'm certainly going to try. It'll likely please some of the Clark/Bruce fans out there, too. :-D

The Lake House arrived from NetFlix and that's another movie that's been requested more than once - touchstoneaf nailed it down with her prompt when she left the 10,000 comment on my LJ. I'll probably watch that this weekend.

Somewhere in there I actually worked at a job, too. You know, that thing that pays me to be a writer in my time off. I really hate taking time from writing to *work*. :-P

Oh yeah, I've been having fun with beta stuff, too. *grin*

Thanks! First runthrough, I've got a fairly solid handle on how to CLex the plot. Now I need to go back and flesh out some details and snag a few truly perfect lines of dialogue to insert where needed. :-D

Since you're fond of movie/SV fusions, how about Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca? You've got the innocent chosen by the world-weary millionaire with an estate & castle whose first & dead wife was supposedly perfect in every way.

Oh Oh oh!!! You're thinking about Clexifying The Lake House?
I would be so psyched!!! It's a favorite of mine.

I actually started Clexifying a movie over the weekend. It's really a hard thing to do but I'm giving it my best shot.

I admire all the ones you have done.

I agree that making a movie work with CLex can be a challenge. Despite what a few people have claimed about my remixes, it's not just a matter of changing names. There's back story to be built and all the changes required to make Clark and Lex still recognizable in their new lives.
