Well, here I am alive and happy with not a zombie in sight. Traffic has resumed, the sun is shining, sort of because it looks like it might rain later, the birds are chirping (right outside the goddamn window so that I couldn't sleep any longer), and I have freshly baked banana bread for breakfast.

Life is good.

I could do without the two boxers fake fighting each other next door. The snarls raise the hairs on the back of my neck every time I hear them and after last night it's extra creepy. Three more nights until Gary's back and I can actually sleep more than a few hours a night. I'm sure the paranoia will dial back after that.

This was at two o'clock in the morning, so my assumption is there was an accident and they were re-routing traffic. Unfortunately, that happens all too often on my street. I'll keep an eye on the news and see if it shows up because I'm curious like that. :-D
