You took my breath away with the beauty of this piece. The language was so evocative. I am so glad that Clark chose hope.

It's really marvellous...you used so magical words...
each bloom of blue-purple welcomed by a hiss of thanks and a plea for more.....nothing mattered except the pressure that kept building at the base of your spine until wet heat washed your belly and his, until you couldn't tell where he started and you ended...only that you were....it takes my breath away....Thanks...

Beautiful imagery! Of course, Clark choosing to go back to Lex and hope, always helps. :D

By the middle I was afraid there would be no hopeful ending here, but as usual you pulled it off. Wonderful.

oh *wow*! That was *beautiful*!
A sleepy question and an open palm call you closer, a muttered protest at your absence warming, evaporating the remnants of rain-cold doubts. You pull off clothes that carry mountain air, the damp of mile-high clouds, and you crawl inside the future praying he'll never taste the salt of your hesitation.

You choose hope.

Damn! I *love* that!

The story was plain incredible! And it's so sad I couldn't keep my thought on character you were actually writing about instead of thinking of my own... life situations. :( I'm so sorry. :( This story deserves better than this.

He's the worst, has always sliced the deepest.
Very evocative, and true for both of them - at least how we see them :P

[...] you stand on a mountain, states east from your mistake, and face the whirlwind.
Again, very evocative imagery. It makes it easier to imagine Clark's internal battle, trying to sort out his thoughts and emotions, all the while knowing that this might be the biggest mistake of his life. I especially like states east from your mistake part.

This is a very beautiful and poignant story! I loved the fact that Clark knows what Lex has done, can't forget it, but loves him anyway. That he hesitates, but then makes the conscious decision to stay with Lex.

There were many more lines I liked, but I don't want to quote you your whole story :P The cover is also beautiful - I love Clark's expression, how he really seems to be staring at an oncoming hurricane. Great job!

Very nicely done.

And so much more real that what they show on the program.
