Oh, very nice! There are way too few 1st-person stories in SGA, and even fewer are John-POV -- this is a very very nice change! Oh John, you so self-deceiving, but on you it looks good.

Oooo, I love this! I can so see John having nightmares after that episode. I can also see Rodney NOT having nightmares and being thoroughly puzzled by John's behavior until he figures it out. Great job!

I think this is the first time I've read your fic, so might I say, well done? And also, what a coincidence: I run a writing club, and my prompt for this week was unreliable narrators. What a great example of one!

I loved how we slowly realize that John's the one in trouble, here, how Rodney's the one worried over *him* rather than the other way around - how John's arms linger outwards because he has promised himself he'll be there for *Rodney*, not because he is in any way aware it's what he himself needs...
