Oh, boys! *snicker* The voices are perfect! And after Pegasus, who wouldn't think painting a house is fun? :)

Lovely look at our boys doing all those wonderful domestic things when setting up housekeeping together. However, they are doing it the John and Rodney way. Loved it!

John's monosyllablism* made me smile very wide indeed :D Just lovely.

Oh glorious. I have such a thing for domestic schmoop, and this is great. I really liked how it was all done through dialogue.

They spread every year and eventually there were all these little blue flowers that looked like they were escaping across the lawn with their leafy hands thrown up in the air saying, 'Free! We're free! LOL

Ha, very fun and entertaining read. John's one word answers, nonchalance and Rodney's planting diagrams had me laughing. Very nice ending, just right. Also, yay for the heart shaped hot tub!

LOL!!! The flower garden one was my favorite, with the fractal garden design and the leafy hands and the flowers shouting "We're free!" :P And my heart melted a little when John called Rodney "Dr. McKay-Sheppard." :) Excellent job!

Ditto on the flower garden...loved that bit..along with the whole story.

Of course now the problem is...can I plant flowers in a fractal pattern...sigh...
There are days I wish I didn't own a home...dealing with yard care being a major one. Ah well at least John didn't go "hot rodding" on the riding lawn mower. I will not admit to my actions with my first riding lawn mower...just that my lawn wasn't the only one that got mowed that first day with it..

LOL! Loads of fun, especially, "That's…you created a bulb placement design in the shape of a fractal?"

But the last scene made me the happiest. *contented sigh*

esteefee: John staring up in a black golf shit, a sad expression on his face. (shep_vegas)

"Leafy hands."

OMG this made me laugh out loud. I could just imagine the dry tone in contrast to John's eager little free-the-flowers! idea. If ever there was a more odder couple.

Nice. :)
