My bright spot for the last week or so...

...has been watching 'The Untamed' on Netflix with Gary. Now I shall have to find another series with gorgeous scenery and costumes and pretty boys in love.

The show also had me exclaiming more than once, "That's just like in Revelation Online!"(https://ro.my.games/)

Sorry I'm late to the party, but if you're looking for period costumes and incredible scenery and haven't watched Neko Samurai then you have missed out. It's just one pretty man with a frowny face and his cat, but it is the most adorable thing ever. No slash possibilities though. :D

BUT CATS! It's feudal Japan and everybody, everybody loves cats.

I actually gave this one a try but it didn't click. I followed "the Untamed" with "Guardian' which wasn't pretty except for the leads, but I really enjoyed it. I have a few more on my list. My daughter holds me responsible for 'dragging' her into the Guardian fandom and for her new obsession with c-dramas. I don't feel at all guilty. :-P
