On no, not another bunny! CLex/Firefly crossover

What is it with me and housework? All I did was put clean sheets on the beds and make them and I guess I was bored because now I have a CLex/Firefly crossover. I've never really read anything in Firefly fandom! I have the series, but have only seen Serenity once and will have to think about getting a copy because this bunny is not going away anytime soon. I have the first 500 words down. Why me?

I am going to take a bath and read my bath book (currently moseying through Stranger In A Strange Land) and compose my thoughts and then update at least one of my WIPs today.

*walks away muttering imprecations and looking for rabbit repellant*

I read an amazing Simon (firefly)/Lex fic probably a year or so ago and GUH! Just awesome. As a huge Firefly fan I would love to see what you would come up with.

BTW--I got the draft last night, and have begun reading. I have to go out to do Mothery things today (and visit the hospital :( ) but should be back to finish this afternoon/evening. I know the challenge is due tomorrow, I will try to get it back to you asap. Are you generally looking for just a feel and initial reaction or more comprehensive notes?

I think this crossover will happen - it was a spectacular French Angora bunny. It just needs to take a backseat for a while or I'll get a reputation for never finishing anything.

I'll take what you have time for, general impression is fine and any blatant gotchas. I found a few grammaticals after I sent it too you yesterday, so not looking for in-depth on that. Enjoy your Mothery things. :-D

Hm, I actually don't think we do. I think it was on the list of movies that we were waiting for them to go on sale at the same time at HV. That was ages ago though, we clearly forgot. You can check my room to be sure, but I think we just have Firefly. Which is on the list of things I need to procure for my own. Sufferin Suzie, duplicating our movie library is difficult!

No, you can have the Firefly, I won't need it really. The story is set after the end of Serenity or is AU somewhere towards the end. I'll just have to check a few things.

Stranger in a Strange Land

I was thinking of rereading that a few days ago.

I hate doing this, but I must ask...Does that mean there's a possiblity of a SV version of Stranger in the future? Coz the thought of that makes me Squee! like the pathetic sci-fi/SV fangirl that I am!

Um, yeah. roxymissrose and I had a thread on Heinlein a while back and I saw Clark as Smith. I also saw Lex as Lazarus Long in Time Enough For Love and wanted to combine the two stories somehow so that Clark lived of course. Very ambitious...
